We are a junior football club based in Perton near Wolverhampton. We play in the Bilston Leagues, and have teams from under 10 through to under 16. We are always looking for new players, and coaches who have a passion for football, and a positive attitude. If you are interested in joining us, get in contact with the team manager for your age group.
Presentation Evening and next steps
Congratulations to all the players, coaches and managers for all their efforts last night in making the Presentation Evening such a success. Well done to all those who won special awards, particularly to Sam Forster, a well deserved Cyril Sidlow Award winner. There were lots of good comments by parents about the evening itself and what the club stands for. This helps to make all the work off the pitch worthwhile.
However, we move forward by attracting more players, coaches and managers to grow the club from the younger end and continuing to set high standards which are attractive to sponsors. If there is anyone out there who wants to get involved, please contact the Chairman or the Secretary.

Under 13 East Double Celebration!
[ 56 days old ]
Congratulations to the Under 13 East squad who won the Telford League Cup by beating Randlay Colts 3-2 in the Final at The Buck's Head Stadium in Telford. Goals from Jead Clarke, George Banks and Sam Forster capped an excellent team performance. Added to this, the squad have once again won through to the Final of the Jimmy Mullen Tournament at Molineux, a competition that they won in 2010 and 2011. Fantastic achievements in one weekend!
Double Cup Triumph at Bilston Town
[ 59 days old ]
A fantastic night of football at, Bilston Town F.C.'s Ground, initially saw our U14 East side bring home the Div One Cup. Followed straight after by our U15's who secured a 1st Div Charity cup win. Well done to both sets of managers and players. You did yourselves and the club proud.
Under 14's East Cup Winner
[ 60 days old ]
Perton and Codsall Under 14's East won the 1st division cup final 3-2 after extra time. Think we fully deserved the win despite going down 2-0 at one stage but we were the better team and were on top for long periods. Well played lads !!!
Loads of space for new teams!
[ 63 days old ]
We are looking for new teams to join our successful well run club. We have fantastic ties with Perton and Codsall Middle Schools, Codsall High School plus Codsall Village Hall so we have 6 pitches at our disposal! These pitches vary in size, from those more suited to U11's teams, right the way through to U21's teams. We are now providing Perton Middle School with 21' by 7' goals, for one of their two pitches, we now have two pitches dedicated to U11's and U12's teams. Why not give us a ring....?
Cup Final Woe for U10's
[ 65 days old ]
Sadly our U10's lost their 2nd cup final of the year, against the team who beat them in the previous final Bustleholme Villa, by just one goal to nil. It's always sad to lose a cup final but the team can take great heart in what has been a successful 1st season with three trophies in the bag.
Bag Packing
[ 68 days old ]
Michelle Christoforou has kindly organised a bag packing for the Under 12's at Sainsburys Perton on Saturday 21st April 10 till 4. This is a great opportunity to raise money for the club and team. Please come along and show your support
U13 West Come Up Short In Final
[ 80 days old ]
Sadly our U13's West side last night lost their Divisional Cup Final against Wyrley Rhino's by 3 goals to 1. Congratulations goes to the 'Rhino's' on their win. Our lads can hold their heads high though. They performed well on the night having large spells of possesion but weren't able to make it count, where it matters, in front of the goal. This team has made significant strides this year with a cup final place in the bag and still well positioned in the league for a top two finish. We are all proud of what you have achieved this season and at the end of the day we musn't forget that a runners up trophy is much better than no trophy at all! Mark Reeves Club Secretary

It's what Perton and Codsall stands for kids football played the right way in the correct atmosphere. Congratulations to Wednesbury Sports Union U14's who played their part in todays game and were also nominated.

Well done to the Under 13 east team who represented the club with distinction on the Finals night of the Jimmy Mullen Tournament. Bidding to win the event for the third year running, they came unstuck in the dreaded penalty shoot out after drawing with Dudley Sports after extra time.Credit to everyone involved.

Season finishes with a 1-0 defeat. Playing with only 10 men was always going to be difficult but all 10 players can hold their heads up high after this performance as we were the better team playing some good football. See you all next week at the presentation guys and thanks for a great season

Lads our club is taking part in the Perton Carnival this Bank Holiday Monday. We will be walking around with the floats from 12pm. It would be good to promote our Double winning team this year, whilst also promoting our club. Any players who want to be a part meet at The Wrottesley Arms pub Monday at 1145am in our club jackets. We will have some trophies to show off as well.

Credit to Wryley Dragons who despite only having 8 players today gave everything in very difficult conditions. They never let their heads drop, against our U13's, despite the scoreline and kept going right to the end. A credit to their club and manager but most importantly themselves. Well done to all the players involved in what was a difficult match

Well with Dan Burke's Car blowing up on the M6 I had to step into the fray and help with the U12's Merit Shield fixture, against 3rd placed Premiership opposition, Warstones Wanderers. Whilst we may of lost 5-1 the lads put in a decent enough display against what was a very good side. Early on we hit the post and had another good effort cleared away. Their Class told but we kept battling. A goal was pulled back just after half time to make it 2-1. They added a third before we had a goal chaulked out for close offside. They added two late goals to put a shine on their win. We can take heart from our performance and if the lads improve on their workrate they can make a decent show of it next season when they are promoted to the Premier league.

Cyril Sidlow Achievement Award
This award is presented annually by Rita Jefferies
in honour of her father, ex-Wolves and Liverpool goalkeeper
Cyril Sidlow. It is not necessarily based on skill or
ability, but effort and attitude. It goes to a player
who has shown the greatest commitment and contribution
to their team's cause.
In 2010 the award was
presented to Daniel Perry by John Williams.
We support the FA Respect programme and encourage all of our club members, players, coaches and parents to accept the decisions of match officials in a mature and honest manner. After all, referees are only human, and like the rest of us they can make a genuine mistake. Overall, they still get the vast majority of decisions correct, and those that they do get wrong have a strange way of evening themselves out over the course of a season.
Don't stand still, keep pushing forward in whatever it is you do. You may get the occasional setback, but treat it as a valuable learning experience, reflect on it, then do what's necessary to ensure it doesn't happen again.
That's what life is all about. We all grow and improve; as people, as parents, as footballers, as coaches/managers, and of course as web designers.
So, our website has been revised. The first version was ok, after all it did get over 10,000 hits. But we didn't want to rest on our laurels.
We hope you like this new version, sign our guestbook and tell us what you think.
