|
We are an amateur club providing opportunities for local kids to enjoy football and participate in team activities. Our club has grown from humble beginnings, starting with just the one team in our inaugural 1998 season. Our tenth anniversary season saw 10 teams representing the club ranging from under 10's to under 16's playing in the Bilston and Telford Leagues.
The safety, well being, and enjoyment of the youngsters have always been our main priority. All of our coaching staff have achieved FA standard certification, are qualified first aiders, and have been subjected to rigorous background checks including the Police Criminal Records Bureau. You can rest assured that your children are in good hands.
The club is run on an entirely voluntary basis, and relies on its members, coaches, managers, players, parents, supporters and sponsors for financial support. It takes a lot of effort and organisation to ensure the smooth running of the club and all of the teams, a big ''THANK YOU'' goes out to everyone concerned.
At Perton and Codsall United FC we believe that football is a metaphor for life. Done properly as we do it, football can engender a positive value framework, provide social interactions, develop relationships, teach self discipline, give responsibility, offer accountability, reward hard work and lots more besides. Through all of this our children will be better prepared for the future challenges that life holds, and they will be able to face these challenges with an added maturity and self-confidence. They'll get fit and have fun too!
